Excellent and dramatic hand-colored Albertype view of the entrance to the Boca Raton Club, circa the 1920s or so. Just look at that wonderful fountain, with the jets and the lily pads, and the old cars, and all the palm trees. These hand-colored images are very rare.

Wonderful, marvelous, terrific - fill in your own superlative on this one, because it's hitting on all cylinders. I'm lucky to have a second fountain view from the Boca Raton Club by the Albertype Company, and another hand-colored one as well! This is a different fountain from the one in FL0147. The center jet is lots taller, and it's much further away from the Club as FL0147. You can see about a dozen parked cars through the fountain spray. The way the white of the water jetting into the air blends with the pink and then blue of the sky is excellent.
