I bet an elegant time was had by all who ate in the Main Dining Room, Boca Raton Club. This lovely hand colored view features deep red upholstered chairs, and purple hanging flowers at the far end of the room. The ficus trees are very green, the light fixture in the center of the room is golden beige, and the ceiling is blue. I like the fact that the tables are all set, and there's a full water carafe on the table to the far right.

I adore this rare and interesting hand colored Albertype view of the Indoor Swimming Pool at the Boca Raton Club, circa the 1930s. What makes this wonderful image so fun is the graceful tropical foliage and flowers that surround the pool. Those hanging baskets just have to be full of fushcia, something about both their color and habit makes me think so.
