Jayhawk Bowl
Code: JayhawkBowl
$0.00
What a wonderful (and rare! and expensive!) linen card advertising the Jayhawk Bowl bowling alley, in Topeka, circa what? the early '50s? This card hits on all cylinders: the red and blue swivel stools at the lunch counter, the lanes, the checkerboard-tiled floor, the big fan off to the left, the free-standing cigarette ashtray... What a slice of time!!

Playland, Ocean City, N. J.
Code: Playland
$0.00
Great interior linen view of New Jersey's Largest Bowling Center, "Playland," at Ocean City, circa the early 1950s or so. A sign on the far wall says "Playland" in script, and that box suspended from the ceiling is an air conditioner I think. I also initially thought the far right wall was mirrored, but now I don't think so. After all, it was "New Jersey's Largest."

Excellent linen view of the Bowl Bar, Wisconsin Dells, featuring three interior views of the Bar. The top left view looks like a soda shop with stools, a curving counter, and checkerboard floor, the top right view is the bowling lanes, and the bottom view looks like a liquor bar, because it's got a huge glass of champagne as a decoration.
