Greetings from Cape Cod
Code: MA2403
$0.00
Terrific 'flounder border' circa 1906 that says "Greetings from Cape Cod," and features a group of adults dangling their feet over a boat. The caption reads "Feels Good," and in the summer, I bet it does!

Tourist's Auto Map of Cape Cod
Code: CapeCod10
$0.00
We have two of these 'Tourists' Auto Maps,' and this one is more detailed than the other in terms of the number of towns shown, and that makes me think it's a little bit later than the other one. This one is probably circa the late 1940s or so. If you'd like to know if your town is listed, please email me and I'll tell you. I know it's too small to see everything on the Internet, but rest assured that in real life these names are clear as a bell.

The Cranberry Bottle
Code: CranberryBottle
$0.00
Fun and funny linen advertising image of "The Cranberry Bottle" on Cape Cod, circa 1935. The "bottle" says "Ocean Spray Cranberry Cocktail" and is part of a roadside stand that undoubtedly sold everything cranberry - sauce, preserves, jellies, juice, etc. Very charming.

Along the Beach, Cape Cod
Code: CapeCod1
$0.00
Even though the caption (on the reverse) says "Along the Beach, Nantucket," let's face it, this could be anywhere on the Cape. What a beautiful view! The weathered boat, the weathered building, the dunes and sea grass, the foamy waves, the blue water, the reddish-orange horizon. This is lovely!

Ye Old Grist Mill
Code: MA2201
$0.00
One of those stereotypical "Cape Cod" views, this one by the famous Albertype Company, circa the 1930s or so. What a lovely view of this grist mill, and the - what is that thing to the side - I'm losing my mind - anyway, the wheel I think, ANYWAY, look at the water and you can almost hear it. Just terrific. The reverse says that Brewster was, at one time, the Home Town of Author Mr. Joseph C. Lincoln. My grandparents had a cottage on Ellis Landing for many years, the second to the last cottage. It got sold in the depths of the recession of '91 - wow, I wish I had that to do all over again!

Dill Street at the Sea
Code: MA2479
$0.00
A quintessential Cape Cod view, and a lovely one at that. The view is by the Albertype Company, who were especially well-regarded for their handcolored scenes, and is postmarked 1937. Just look at the post and rail fence to the left, the lovely pink flowered shrubbery to the left and the right of the road, and the blue, blue water in the distance. Really beautiful, when you get right down to it.
