One of the most dramatic 'shell borders' ever is this fantastic vertical view of Luna Park at Night, Coney Island. Postmarked 1912. Fabulous shells, wonderful sky with crescent moon and stars, elaborate building, and American flags. Note the man leading the little girl with the white dress and hat by the hand. Very charming.

What a wonderful 'shell border' view of the Entrance to Dreamland, Coney Island,.' postmarked 1908. How charming! Really amazing architecture, too, looking at the lady (goddess?) at the Entrance, with huge white wings that form the arches to the Entrance. Above this gal, up in the clouds, is a sign that says "Dreamland Creation." What in the world went on in there?? Really interesting, especially good shells.
