Terrific early view of Main Street looking North in Franklin, postmarked 1909. Very interesting and busy view, showing a horse at the watering trough at the corner of "Central" and "Main," plus a sign for Owl Cigar, a boy walking pulling a wagon, several horse-drawn conveyances, and a sign for "C. A. Moore, Shoemaker," though the "C" could be an "E." The sign over the green buildings' windows looks like "BATCHEL" something. Very nice view.
