This funny horse looks so jolly with his devil-may-care expression and green striped bow tie! An artist signed card by Arthur Thiele, circa the 1910s or so.

  True Liberty
Code: Teddy2
$0.00
From a wonderful series of the famous sayings of Theodore Roosevelt, this lovely art nouveau image is truly marvelous. Beautifully embossed, gold leaf details, excellent colors. This says: "True liberty shows itself to best advantage In protecting the rights of others." Excellent flower, art nouveau embellishments. Copyright 1910 by John Geyer, who did a fine job.

  Patriotic Boy on Pony
Code: BoyonPony1
$0.00
Man alive! What a terrific image. This hits on all cylinders. You've got the smiling little boy in the WWI-era uniform, the pinto pony, the American flag, the contrast between the picket railing and the lattice slats... What a great addition to any child's room! Or practically anybody's room, for that matter!

  Two Boys on a Pony
Code: BoysonPony
$0.00
Fun view of two little boys on a pinto pony. Both boys are dressed up with cowboy attire. The little boy in the back looks older and is wearing a cowboy hat. My guess is that his little brother is pouting because a) he didn't get to wear the hat, or b) because pouting is just what little brothers and sisters do. The older boy looks tickled pink. I bet he still remembers being on that pony! This photo was taken by Mitchell, 2314 Lucas Drive, in Dallas. Circa the 1940s or so.

  Boy on a Pony #2
Code: BoyonPony2
$0.00
Great real photo of a little boy on a pony. This little boy is wearing a hat and very woolly chaps and has a leather bag as part of his outfit. What a grin!

  Saturday Evening Post Girl
Code: SaturdayEveningPostGirl
$0.00
This is a really interesting real photo view of a young woman standing with her pony, with a Saturday Evening Post delivery bag over her shoulder. The pony is very alert - look at those ears. Notice the girl's straw hat, her rag bows, her long skirt and coat. Still, she's got a brooch at her neck, and a really nice looking bracelet, so it's difficult to know or imagine why she's working so independently delivering the Saturday Evening Post. There's a very rural feel to this photo. I bet she turned out to be an interesting, productive woman!
