  Uncle Sam #1
Code: UncleSam1
$0.00
This is the first card in a very famous "installment" series, circa 1906. Here is Uncle Sam, smiling benignly, wearing a wonderful top hat, bow tie, stand up collar, and goatee. Interesting flower (?) feathers (?) in his button hole. This image says "The first Card shows Uncle Sam smiling bright, Because he knows he is Allright." ALLRIGHT! These Uncle Sam images are from Huld's Puzzle Series No. 3. The idea was to mail each card separately to a friend, who did the "puzzle". This Uncle Sam image is very timely and fun. I matted each image with a small separation, and framed them all in one frame. A perfect group for an entrance or hallway.

  Uncle Sam #2
Code: UncleSam2
$0.00
Second in the puzzle installment series, this image shows Uncle Sam's starry waistcoat, vest (love those red buttons!), and red striped shirt and the tops of his trousers. The the legend says "Here are more of the stars, also the shield, In the battle for honor he never will yield." It's unusual to find a set where all the cards were mailed to the same person from the same person - most of the time people piece together sets. This set however, was mailed from Betsy in Ausable, Michigan, on March 14, 1907, to Miss Pauline McInnes, Ripley, Ontario.

  Uncle Sam #3
Code: UncleSam3
$0.00
The third card in this series show Uncle Sam's red and white trousers and the end of his waist coat. The interior of the waist coat is (and prints) deep indigo, though it might look black. Here the words are: "He stands firm on his feet since his birth; They are large enough to cover the earth." And do!

  Uncle Sam #4
Code: UncleSam4
$0.00
The final card in this installment series is the best. It shows the end of Uncle Sam's trousers and his boots, and says "The stripes forever, long may they wave, O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave." Amen to that!!!!
