Wonderful early view of Main Street, circa 1904, by the famous postcard publisher the Rotograph Company. Excellent details: the bike leaning against the building to the left, the lady in the long skirt walking away, the interesting street light hanging from the post, the Baker(y?) sign, the horse-drawn carriages, the trolley coming at us... There's nothing like a good Rotograph. A sign on the right side of the street says (I think) J. F. Hughes. Very handsome view.
