Marvelous and rare bit of roadside Americana, here's a linen view of Texaco Town Diner and Service Station, circa the early 1940s or so. There's the familiar Texaco star, the diner is the building to the far left, the middle building looks to be the Service Station, and there's a building that says "Texaco Town Garage" to the far right. The price of the gas is, mercifully, obscured. Interesting graphics at the bottom corners.
