  Greetings from PROVINCETOWN
Code: MA3830
$0.00
Greetings from PROVINCETOWN, circa 1930s or 40s. Large letter linen with views of local interest inside letters. Nice background.

  Town Harbor from Town Hall
Code: MA3832
$0.00
Everyone who collects postcards knows how rare these double- and triple-wide cards are. Just think of the physics involved in keeping two pieces of folded paper together over 100 years of handling. This is a spectacular double-wide view of the Town Harbor from Town Hall, and is circa about 1905. It might be an unsigned Rotograph, and I can think of no higher praise. What details! I bet if you know Provincetown, you recognize many of these buildings. I see a sign that says "Pilgrim House," and two different wharfs ("wharves" is also correct) project out into the bay. If you went far enough out you'd hit Brewster, where my grandparents had a beach house. When we were little kids we thought if we walked far enough (and fast enough) in the direction of Provincetown at low tide we'd eventually arrive. In retrospect, it's amazing we survived!

  Triple-wide Bird's Eye View
Code: MA3831
$0.00
Terrific and early and RARE triple-wide Bird's Eye View of Provincetown, circa the 1900s. Note the bunting on the big building at the beginning of the third section. Homes, roof tops, backyards, churches, the harbor,... Lovely details and colors. See special dimensions and prices. We can make this bigger (by which I mean it'll get a little wider and a whole lot longer.)

Race Point Life Saving Station, Provincetown
Code: MA3817
$0.00
A very early and wonderful view of the Race Point Life Saving Station, circa about 1907. There's a man standing at the open doors of the "Race Point Station," with weathered shingled buildings, the corner of a carriage to the far right, and sand dunes beyond. There's a screen door to the mid-right, and you can almost hear the spring creek as it closes. Great view.

View of Provincetown from the Wharf
Code: MA3818
$0.00
Fine handcolored View of Provincetown from the Wharf, by the famous New York postcard publisher the Albertype Company, circa the 1930s or so. The two boats near us are named the Angelique (I think) and the Nordic. Note the people to the extreme right standing on the pier.
