Here's a fascinating view! Fine Edward H. Mitchell sepia bird's eye view of Santa Clara Street and the Electric Tower, circa the 1910s. Wonderful details; you can see the trolley under the tower and all sorts of tiny people walking around.

Santa Clara Street, Looking West
Code: CA8703
$0.00
Another excellent view by famed West Coast postcard publisher Edward H. Mitchell, this one in their distinctive colors, of Santa Clara Street, Looking West. I see an early car to the left, but otherwise it's all horse-drawn buggies on the street, plus the trolley. There's a 'Laundry" buggy to the left, and a Millinery store to the right, and the Electric Tower in the distance.

Post Office, St. Joseph's Church, and Electric Tower
Code: CA8752
$0.00
Another excellent Edward H. Mitchell bird's eye view of the Post Office, St. Joseph's Church, and the Electric Tower, San Jose, postmarked 1917. Truly terrific details and colors. Notice how the trolley is perpendicular to the tracks - it must be turning around. And just look at those marvelous palm trees, the super sky, and the mountain range to the right.
