Marvelous "State of Virginia" Girl, circa the 1900s. Great coloring, great composition. Nautical themes abound. Lovely young woman holding wooden oar and binoculars (look at that pinky!) wears blue and white outfit trimmed in gold. Blue and gold striped skirt and collar - nice gold star at bow - and blue hat. Bows on hat and collar seem to be blowing merrily in the breeze. Terrific.
