  The Cincinnati Butterfly Girl
Code: OH0598
$0.00
This is the first time I've ever seen this particular 'butterfly girl' format, which makes her rare among rare. She was mailed from Cincinnati in 1907, and besides a really special dress and those antenna coming from her head, she features four views of Cincinnati in her wings. The captions are very faint, but I can make out three. From the lower left, clockwise, they are: the Country Club, the Conservatory of Music, Bethesda Hospital, and the lower right view eludes me, but it's something like "West House." Wonderful colors, and a very pretty, smiling girl.

  The Ardmore Pansy Girl
Code: OK0049
$0.00
I know I keep saying that these Pansy Girls and Butterfly Girls are rare, and yet I have a million of them. You'll just have to take my word for it. I recently showed my collection to a dealer of 40 years standing, and he was amazed, kept saying he had 'no idea' there were so many. Anyway, this is a fun, Art Nouveau image of a pretty girl's head in the middle of a pansy, surrounded by five views of Ardmore, postmarked 1908. The five views are: the Seven Hundred Ranch, Ardmore Rod and Gun Club House, Ardmore Rod and Gun Club Lake, Santa Fe Trail in Big Canyon, and the Carnegie Library.
