The four views of Lockhardt in the butterfly wings are: the Christian Church, the Court House, Blanks Memorial Hall, and the Interior of Emmel's Drug Store. They are: South Side School, the Methodist Church, a Residence, and a Street Scene. The message is cute. "Still dry and hot, no rain since Sunday. Cotton looking fine. No new worms yet but lots of Millers." Either a Miller is some kind of pest, or it's some kind of pest.
